Sauron, the Dark Lord It does seem like you need a fellowship to defeat this crazy ward cost, and because of that Sauron, the Dark Lord seems more powerful at better tables

Even the +1/+1 counters you get to place on the creature doesn't make the card all that strong

Effectively, you both want ways to make Food /fill your graveyard and cards that say Forage on them

Also his +1 was solid too, as you could kill dorks, and then tap a blocker to hit with some stuff, or untap a dork post-attack to keep back and protect your Ral
