Basically there is a huge difference between the value of an effect when played as a spell that costs you a card to do and one on a card already in play

Its a bit pricey at 9 mana, but in formats like Commander where big mana is common, this card can completely warp the game

There was, of course, an option to play against real humans through the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, but I got the game pretty late so I never got to duel much in that area

Though it is outclassed by C39: Utopia Ray Victory in some ways, the fact that it can target both sides of the feild and the inability to be destroyed by battle, considering that you didn't use regular Excalibur's already powerful effect, makes it worth it's summoning
