Green Horse Age:2 YR especially in warmer soilsA perry pear popular in Gloucestershire orchards. A round green or yellowish green fruit sometimes seen with a light orange flush. Some russet. Flowers early to mid season. Harvest second to fourth week of October. Mill within three weeks of harvest. A large tree, somewhat stiff in appearance. A regular and reliable cropper. High quality vintage perry, high acid and low tannin.
