The life rider for card drawing was dropped, because the card already had an inherent risk, and it helped make the effect feel more different from the drain (and was less wordy)

Innistrad: Midnight Hunt (2021) brings three new cards, but only the rare (Florian) did anything in constructed and not even much there

But what makes this even stronger is the ability to stack your graveyard, too

It has gone on to spawn many other card designs, and even some mechanics
