I explored painting these beautiful flowers under different lighting conditions, different backdrops etc to get a deeper understanding of the subject and above all, have fun! This painting is part of the collection. There are thick luscious brushstrokes and interesting paint passages for the viewer to enjoy. The complementary purple backdrop really pops up the colour in the flowers.
