A 1st Edition card can be distinguished from an unlimited card by a small circular black stamp on the left (that says "Edition 1") below the character box on the front
Unlike Calamity Bearer, it doesnt scale with Giants its the same whether you have one or five on the battlefield but the fact that it works from the graveyard can be quite strong
All of the key cards mentioned above are cards that you'll generally want to avoid sideboarding out against just about any opponent
The one innovation was that, while Innistrad only had DFCs that were a creature on both sides (and one planeswalker on both sides at mythic rare), Dark Ascension had two DFCs that started as artifacts, one of which wasn't even a creature on the back face
The rest of the deck typically consists of non-creature spells such as burn spells, combat tricks, or removal to clear blockers or deal direct damage
Each level will offer a new ability or an instant return, such as grabbing a card from a graveyard
