Payne Fly Rod 9' 3/2 #5 7'10" It has seen a tinyAn Early Jim Payne 9' 3pc, 2T #5 line for a medium slow action. Very dark flame cane with lighter nodes. All metal seat stamped near the grip "E. F. Payne Makers, Highland Mills, NY". Rolled and soldered ring. Pot bellie waist on ferrules. Agate stripper and tip tops. Blunt cigar grip 3 8" corks. Wrapped black with red edges. Redone many years ago. Guide at top of butt is smaller than any on the mid section. Mid section is wrapped on the reverse facet
