The light will either be completely blocked (card is too thick/dark) or it will glow a bright, fiery orange/yellow because the paper density is completely wrong

When your commander is sent to the graveyard or exile, it goes there first (so "dies" triggers still fire), and then you may move it to the command zone as a state-based action

This was, of course, years ago

This allows you to save a great deal of mana, and get a ton of value out of cards like Colossus Hammer that possess a very low mana cost, but a very high equip cost

Regardless, you can see where conniving can become a useful "special guest" mechanic on this creature

It will be interesting to see if this card receives consistent reprints over time like Sun Titan or if it goes the way of a lot of other Commander cards that get printed at Mythic Rare and we dont see an accessible reprint for years
