2019 Hillside “Heritage Series” Syrah spaghetti Bolognese The finishThis single vineyard Syrah shows potential right out of the gate with a very exuberant nose of cassis, blueberry, and that first sizzle scent of BBQ meat. The palate is a combination of power and elegance that reflects the aromas as well as some savoury notes, dark cherry, plum, stewed strawberry and raspberry, and espresso coffee. A very long, bright spicy and fruity finish includes cloves, cinnamon and white pepper. The tannins are already soft and
