丸底のツボを立てるために、専用の麻円座を製作しましたので、本品におつけいたします。最後の写真2枚に写っているものです。

重厚でありながら勢いのある屈輪文。一方、丸みのある彫り口や、朱漆とその下からのぞく黒漆との調和に、木彫漆塗ならではの風合いが見て取れます。

入蘆花でも何度も茶会で重宝いたしました。
