The backing of this quilt was originally comprised of 4 panels made from two different types of fabrics

The inner collar is lined in an indigo floral fabric

but did not want to risk damaging the fabrics or fading it further

with the inner hood lined in woven cotton fabric remnants from our friends at Toad&Co

over a dress or layered over a long sleeve as a vest in the cooler months

One-of-a-Kind: Indigo Rocky Road to Kansas Flora Jacket (S) 5 panel The backing of this quiltThis Flora Jacket is made from a lightweight quilt that is hand pieced and quilted in a Rocky Road to Kansas pattern, with the background fabric featuring an indigo dot cotton, with lots of great plaids, ginghams, and shirting fabrics. The quilt backing was a lovely grey homespun fabric, but due to wear and damage, we lined the inside of this jacket with a deep blue lining.
