This commander is built around casting big powerful creatures instead of simply winning with yet another Thassas Oracle combo, injecting some fresh cards into competitive Commander play
They all have three levels which act as a slow form of modality (and modal cards are fantastic in singleton formats) and some of the individual effects are strong
The tricky thing about this card is timing: having to pay two mana before casting an impactful spell could throw off your mana curve if you're not careful, making this one you'd be better off holding until the late game than casting as soon as you have enough to warp
Our proxy can be used for kitchen table magic, a proxy for deck testing, act as additional copies of those expensive cards that you already own, players who looking for altered art of a card that they like or to use as their Commander, cube, EDH / CEDH games with friends who welcome proxies
I did hit a snag when it came to finding cards with strange syntax, like split cards for instance (I tried to proxy a copy of Fire / Ice as an example, but was unsuccessful)
However, in cases where it does resolve, it doesn't matter what happens to any of the Equipment on that creature
