Other powerful tempo pieces like Mockingbird, Miners Guidewing, and Plumecreed Escort can help fill out the lower part of the decks curve
One important aspect of this card I pointed out in a previous article, was that later in the game, this card just becomes a Demonic Tutor, as Control decks aim to make it to the late game with lots of mana at their disposal anyway
It could then slot into decks like [[Marchesa, the Black Rose]] or the upcoming [[Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn]] from Lorwyn Eclipsed
Great protection, slightly more annoying to sleeve
Like yes, the -4 pumps the spirits you make with the static ability, but the +1 doesn't actually do much without help from other cards
Each card has sentimental value to someone: where they got it, the deck it was a part of, that time you used it to battle so-and-so a lot of people tend to hang onto them because of the memories
