I find the card drawing of the Stone in practice to run around 6 mana for three cards, which is basically the same as eight for four from the Tower

There are other even smaller cards that do things like this with extra conditions, like Edgewall Innkeeper

It's still great for buying singles, but Id avoid preorders here

I had a quick look and I like what the designer does

That's why they've created three versions of The Soul Stone- including a ridiculously rare variant with just art and no text, so you can tell your pod it does whatever you want
