Mostly it is a good way to dig for key parts of the deck but it also helps with decking prevention, card advantage (with the Land Tax combo), card immediacy (handy for use with Tutor), miracle cost reduction, and of course the hand protection
Of course, today the vast majority of copies out there in the wild have the correct stats, and counter to what you might think, the misprinted version is actually worth less than the right version and its various reprints
Seeing a modern design powerhouse like Meathook Massacre printed with the old-school, brown-gold enchantment border just feels right
