The card should see plenty of play in cEDH too
Grand Crescendo is ideal for this because it has the protection spell mode, but if you draw it after the board wipe, it helps you rebuild whereas something like Heroic Intervention only works reactively
While its true the stat-line is a bit awkward, the Aristocrats activated ability is incredibly strong
Its far from a menace, but probably isnt going anywhere in a hurry
